Hello everybody. I wanted to ask for help with a unity project. I want to run an ML model in the background of an android device using foregroundservice but I’m having a lot of difficulties. My intention is to modify an existing github project (GitHub - nintendaii/unity-background-service: A simple project that shows how to create an Android service for Unity application working on background) and forecast the steps for the next day(but the main goal here, is to run the model in the background). I created the tflite model and it is importing correctly into the unity project, but it does not work in the generated apk. only the notification from the original github project “Counting your steps…” appears. nor does the exception notification appear. Could anyone give me a suggestion as to what it could be?

Thanks for this amazing video and for sharing your knowledge My Semester Project is Indoor Navigation and this Video is my idea to implement it like this but I'm Totally new to Unity and Its Frameworks. and Secondly this is Totally built on IOS whereas I myself am an Android user and also familiar with the Windows environment. It's been almost 5 yrs and I was looking for an Android implementation but I didn't find it. So Can you kindly guide me through how we can implement this on Andriod?

I'd like you to stick with android dev because like you said, all the good stuff is/will be Android so doing some leg presses with my cellphone(and oculus) will surely be useful on future projects.
